or tollfree Munich - Bad Tölz - Achenpass - Zillertal.
Once arrived in Fügen you drive in the direction of the
centre of the village. Turn to the right and drive
straight on until the church. Again to the right along
the main street until the junction
Marienberg (Nagerlgasse). Keep to the right and after
about 250m you have reached your destination.

Train & Bus
Express train station Jenbach / Tirol. The Zillertalbahn
(train or bus from Jenbach) reaches all villages in the
First holiday resort in Zillertal up to Mayrhofen.
Austria is a "Schengen-country". Nevertheless make sure
you are travelling with a valid passport or ID card.
Your Travellers Cheques are exchangeable at the banks
and post offices. Fügen has bank and post offices and so
does Uderns. Both villages have numerous ATM-machines as
well. The acceptance of Credit Cards varies from place
to place. Note that banks and post offices are closed on
In Austria you have to buy acces to the motorways with a
special ‘autobahnvignet’ You can buy these vignets at
the border. Prices depend on the length of your stay. A
10-day vignet costs approx. € 8.
In the winter it is essential that your car is well
equiped for the winterconditions. (winter tyres and snow
chains). We recommend to try at home how the snow-chains
are mounted, so you will already know how to do this
when it becomes necessary.
